Every nonprofit can achieve a sustainable fundraising revenue stream. This highly participatory and intensive, workshop is based upon Larry’s book, The Eight Principles of Sustainable Fundraising: Transforming Fundraising Anxiety into the Opportunity of a Lifetime. You’ll learn the fundamental principles of sustainable fundraising, the underlying methods that are statistically proven to work with donors, and practical steps for establishing and executing a successful and sustainable fundraising program.
The workshop is offered in two formats: a one-day overview or a day and a half advanced, retreat-style session. Both employ a real-life case study and involve small group discussion. Participants in the advanced session evaluate their organization’s current fundraising program using the Eight Principles and The Sustainable Fundraising Matrix™ and develop an action plan for moving their fundraising programs to the next level.
The workshop, in either format, is available in scheduled, public sessions or can be delivered to a client’s specific audience tailored to the client’s goals.
Eight Principles™ Training
Client workshop intensives are available for each of the Eight Principles™. Three hours in length, case-driven and highly interactive, these sessions provide your organization’s staff and leadership with a hands-on and in-depth training in one of the Eight Principles.

Training is delivered through participatory retreat formats, case-study driven workshops and individual counseling and mentoring which provide knowledge and instill confidence in board members to be successful in philanthropic endeavors.
